On Saturday we decided to take a family outing. We probably don't do them as often as we should so we gritted our teeth and did it. We went to Longwood Gardens as the weather was beautiful. It was a nice sunny day, breezy, not too hot nor humid. I hadn't been there in several years and it had been even longer for Kevin. Unfortunately, we waited to go in the afternoon and the kids were done before we even got there. We shoulda brought some cheese to go along with all the whine we had. Seriously. I took my camera and did manage to get a few shots and it even looks like we had some fun while there. Someday I'll look back at the pictures and think it was fun. hee hee

Grief never ends, but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. The sense of loss must give way if we are to value the life that was lived. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor lack of faith. It is the price of LOVE. ~author unknown
"They say that time in heaven is compared to 'the blink of an eye' for us on this earth. Sometimes it helps me to think of my child running ahead of me through a beautiful field of wildflowers and butterflies; so happy and completely caught up in what she is doing that when she looks behind her, I'll already be there." -author unknown
